cheers guys, this one was just over 20 it honeslty didnt look this big underwater or i wouldnt of shot it. I try to shoot 8-15kg ones, have a look at my mates one i also put up as an individual image, thats over 35 haha

This pic is only small on my phone but it looks like you only just got him if that's the spear hole just in front of his dorsal fin. Great shooting anyway! I've seen heaps when I used to dive around Augusta and Hamlin Bay but never that big! Well done again!

bloody nice bluie mate ,i love eating them that big ,i was a skipper of a shark boat and we would catch heaps of them and they where excellent even over 40kg,
i look forward to seeing how your weekly trips go mate ,dont let some one put you off because they dont like eating blue

Im curious, how far up the west coast have they been caught by others?
We had one in a craypot near the Beagle Islands once, only time I can ever remember catching or seeing one.
