quiet relaxing cliff fish yesterday arvo by myself and quiet until dusk then all hell brakes loose! landed this one, went 7.5kg on scales. lost 3 others. one which i couldnt stop. these local pinks know their ground well and if your drag is not locked up as mine wasnt on a couple of them theyll rip ya straight into the reef! had the ol flueger salt 080 screaming. such good fun and looks like spawning is a month and a half early. big female full of eggs but she was still dinner!! love the stones! no need for a boat! hopefully theyre back there tonight. havent fished this spot for 6 years! glad i decided to go back there again!
