is the trailer the right size for the boat though, very hard to tell from the pics, if it was too small and more boat hanging from the rear of it, it might have caused it to jackknife and throw the boat off the trailer?
it would be interersting to know the story , the trailer looks sigle axle and the hulls got anti fouling, the guys probably taking the boat out of the water to get serviced etc on a temporary trailer instead of dry dock and it didint go to plan, when your up for a bad day it all caves in on you
hes only had that boat for about 3 months, from my count its about the 3rd time he's had it out. Dunno the story about it, but this was about 100m up the road after turning a corner. No tie down straps though!
looks like he took the boat off so he could show everyone the beaut rollers on the trailer.
on a more serious note, this could have been much worse if he had gotten to the open road and was going faster when the rig went walkabout. got to feel for the guy though.

That would of cost a bit to clear. I'm sure calling a crane out on the weekend would be 200 times more than a plumber,...

thats gotta be an
thats gotta be an interesting insurance claim.
1. boat not tied down.
2. trailer is it big enough?
3. surely that boat is heavier than 3.5t and would be out of towing weight class for the cruiser.
Insurance companies are being very tight now, any way to get out of a claim and they jump at it!@
