Submitted by Rig on Tue, 2016-11-29 10:56
Hi Folks
was planning on taking the kids for a cruise to see the Xmas lights around Mandurah canals on the weekend.
just wondering as I am not local and the kids are small we don't have all night so should I focus on the canals near central mandurah of over to yunderup for the best view?
cheers

Last year we launched at Mary
Last year we launched at Mary st ramp around 5pm.
Anchored up in estuary and had some nibblies and drinks.
Once the sun went down we went through the canals for a hour or so.
I recommend central mandurah.
Awesome night very busy however with lots of boats.

Canal Lights
Hi all,
yes agree central Mandurah. However, there is still a lot of lights to go up yet and as usual the "Starfire" Canal is always a cracker.
Another week or so.

If your coming from Perth
The ramp in the marina is free now too. Saves going thru town to get to Mary st. Same as above, go a week day if possible. Gets super busy especially as we get closer to X mas.
Enjoy

Might head down with the kids
Might head down with the kids one weeknight. Need as little traffic as possible to get my rig in there when its busy.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?
