Xmas fishing

Jesus! 45 degrees forecast for Lanno just up the road from us for Xmas day. This means I'll have to make extra ice to keep the cans cold.
Aside from that it looks like some pearler days coming up after boxing day with the swell dropping off to less than a metre.
Fishranger 10 day gives windows during the day so we'll be heading wide and boy am I in need of a fishin fix. Haven't done anything serious since May so gonna go hard. Lot's of new jig toys to play with can't bloody wait.
Fishing plans boys? Are the Fads out?

Two weeks solid from Christmas Day.
Get back to Thursday Island on Xmas eve. I asked my wife today what she would like for Christmas, her answer was " Fishing lures and nice chocolate " I think I'll be able to accommodate that wish. Not having family commitments on the day and Mrs Silver Fox having the next two weeks off plus being in the middle of the doldrums is looking like there's going to be some serious time out on the water. Just have to make sure we don't run out of unleaded on the Island again.....

They still work fine
Long as there dry And look good ( that use to be rules). No expiry date was taken into it Some bright spark changed rules . Load of crap in my books . Everyone knows they work first strike or pull of string . If there in date and get wet there f—ked . Makes no common sense in my books .
