Yes no questions

Wed, 2011-12-21 16:19

But she is to clever to get her RST, preferring me to have to do the hard yards out there. But she does sit at the helm when I am doing other things.

So no problems.

no probs

Wed, 2011-12-21 17:38

Yeh she takes the tinny when ever she wants and never has any dramas.  I haven't let her take the bigger boat yet, but it wouldn't be a problem - depends on the conditions and the boat ramps as its a bitch at Tantas with that sou wester blowing even for some of the blokes.

In short no way.  Then again

Thu, 2011-12-22 07:33

In short no way.  Then again she gets seasick so wouldn't even think of trying.  Yep the reversing down the ramp would be a problem too. I'd give her credits if she was even able to get it in the water (as the young lad found out when he parked opposite our driveway - she saw his car then got in and reversed leaving a nice dent in his driver's door - That's why I always make sure she has up to date insurance).

The other reason why it would never happen involves me taking a sickie and going along....

Cheers

if she was capable...no problem...

but my missus would not even know how to connect the trailer up to the car let alone tow it.

she still thinks my sounder is a tv and the gps is a sterio..

besides all that, she dont like my boat anyway(because im always in it), so its all good for me.

Yep no worries at all letting her take it. Got no choice really her name on the rego papers too. . She can back the trailer, drive the boat and fillet the fish better than some of my male fishing mates    and has a way way better profile

I must be stupid Tony

The Mrs have over and over said we should get a bigger one than the 5.4 Traily. But its more than enough for the 2 off us fishing, and add in a mate or 2 every now and then just perfect for up here.

I think I would leave the glass boats for down south and then go bigger.
