What GPS ?

Just what to know what gps unit to go , have a raymarine A65 , but what to add a seperate unit . Looking lowrance elite i think (comes with gold nav card ) or hds 5 , opinions would be great , cheers in advance !

 buy a cheap android tablet for a quater of the price of a gps unit and download navionics charts :)

if your looking at the elite range

take a look at the new elite 7 1000 dollars will get you the gps with downscan imaging and a gold card for the whole of australia.

other wise if you want the hds go the 7 the five is small and hard to read

Pretty sure I paid just under $1500 at Raymarine dealer in Mandurah & that was the 1st week they came out. I ended up getting the Combo as that was all they had not just the dedicated GPS
