Paul - yeah we're 50/50 at the mo for heading out tomoz. there's a shallow spot out behind the first reef which was holding some crays a few weeks ago so we're keen to see if they are still around... 2.6m swell with 15knt SE won't be that great though I'm hoping being in close we might get enough shelter... decisions decisions!!
have u got any crays yet? or have u seen much around?

A quick fish today...
I've been hanging out for a fish for weeks, and with the weather looking better today, the male half of team gates went for a quick fish down the coast from The Cut this morning.....gentlemen's hours because my son attended a 21st last night.
After a quick trip down to Whitehills beach to check out the water, we hit the ramp at 9.30 and headed down the coast to a previous skippy patch....this time we only bagged 2 but they went 37cm each. The wind picked up and swung around to the SW by 11 and after a fruitless hour, we headed home for lunch...can't beat fresh fillets fried in butter!
Christened the new arm chair seats, the AM/FM/CD player and the $3 (home made) weighted berley bucket...thumbs up all round
Let's hope the weather is better next weekend.
