If I was down there with that offer i would have taken you. Saying that you are so desperate for a fish and will pay for fuel and bait I almost felt sorry.
I think that if I was down there visiting, I also would post that not only will I help clean, deckie etc, but will pay for ALL fuel and bait. I always look at deckie post saying happy to pay 50/50 for X,Y and Z and think thats not right.
If the other guy has the boat, pay for it, licence fees etc and you go out paying for the trip cost it would certainly be what I would do.
But I never ever ask for anything when I take anyone out???. I just enjoy the fishing and company so I always feel like it is a shout, but then thats just me. If they wanted to buy me a carton etc, I find that cool, but dont expect it. But when I go out with someone, I always offer to pay for daily (trip) expenses full up (and also a carton or favourite drop).

well i have a 19 ft
well i have a 19 ft centerconsole that is a big project
i should have it on the water by the end of november with any luck just need to buy a trailer for it an finish the fiberglassing
just thought someone might have had a spare spot for a fish even if its for this arvo as weather looks great all day even for a deep drop
