Troubl uploading photos

Guys
I can upload a single photo, but when uploading multikple photos in a topic, they come up as red crosses and you have to click on them to make it work???
I have not had this problem before, only the past 2 days. I have a post I want to put up with multiple piccies.

just did an edit on an old post and tried to post up some new pics, and yes same thing, little square with a question mark, with no pic unless you click on it.

could be something to do
could be something to do with the site being backed up and shifted??
