Best bet is to hit up any of
Best bet is to hit up any of the weirs along the ross river, an impoundment licence is needed for the freshwater parts of the river ($10 for a week) Dawn and dusk well into the night is the best time with bigger plastics and shallow divers the way to go.
The rock wall along the ferry terminal also has some big barra and fingermark hanging around lately, pretty deep water so plastics are probably the best bet. Also been a big croc down there over the last few weeks so keep an eye out.
Also worthwhile checking out palleranda, theres a channel out from the boatramp that heads north up towards to the rocky point, queenies, little gts and the odd barra.
And finally on your way to palleranda youll cross 3 mile creek, only a small tidal creek but does hold some good fish, usually the last hr of the incoming into the start of the outgoing tide is best.
Good luck

I shifted over here last
I shifted over here last year, also worth cruising up to crystal creek about 40odd mins north of town, turn right just after the bridge where the servo is. Usually not huge fish but good light tackle fun on gts, barra, grunter and jacks.
