Too close to the queen

Hi guys had to share.
As soon as i got shat on by a bird 20min before hand i knew i was going to have good luck
I took the big lens 100-400 hoping to get a shot of the queen thinking i would be miles back. Instead she came right up to us like a meter away and snapped this beauty!!!!

Got no interest in the monarchy myself, but great pics. Got to be worth some money I reckon.

Thanks Tony, yeah it was very hard shooting in such harsh lighting of the miday sun. haha yeah i think the flash was a bit much for him lol, I have a 580ex cranked up all the way 1/1 massivly bright

Nice shots Marc !
The reason why the papers would not have been interested, is that they had every available photogrpaher already covering the Queen and CHOGM, plus agencies both Australian and International were heavily covering both events..
