Solar Power Leasing

Hi guys
I know the solar thing gets flogged on here but couldn't find info on Solar leasing.
Just had a door knocker (always a red flag for me). Explained that they offer no upfront cost on the installation of the panels and inverter and they just take the difference from what the power bill would have been to what it is with the panels in place until this amount equals the initial cost. (hope that made sense).
Just wondering if anyone has seen/heard anything sililar either good or bad?

Careful
A good way to figure these systems out is you pretend your running the business. Then you will get a feel for where the money is.
for systems between 1 1/2 kW and 2kW the pay back period to buy your self is just under five years, provided you spend a little time around the house in daylight hours.
the deal, I have a deal, systems just don't add up for me.

solar
Mate, I wouldnt bother, I just had 5 kw installed on my place on a no deposit, no interest, 2 year plan, its 245bux a month and my 1000 dollar average power bill has halved. ( its not even summer yet!...more sunny hours)
I will own the system in 24 months and be saving heaps from then on.
door to door stuff is always a bit of a worry IMHO.
cheers, whatever you decide, solar is definately worth it with the low cost of systems these days.

cold calling-just like buying
cold calling-just like buying shares, if someone offers you something then you dont want it
