getting the bottom line final answer from a bunch of blokes that use false names and put smiley faces at the end of paragraphs is not the best place in the world to get the information you seek.
Will be a great reel for tailor, salmon etc. If you plan to use it on harder fighting fish I'd personally want to spend some more if you can justify it.
I own one but have ruined it fishing up north fishing for trevally and reef dwellers, locking up as hard as possible to turn fish out of bommies. The 2 bolts that hold together the housing of all the gears, have sheered out of their threading. No possible way to fix.
My Daiwa Certate on the otherhand hasn't faultered yet.

Sol 4000
I've got 2 of them and although I dont fish landbased, they are good reels and I would buy them again.
I use mine for soft plastics/ lures / jigging runing 30lb braid and they have pulled some very good good fish.
I def would recommend the 4000

Not a 4000 but I have a sol 3000 and love it mate.
I use it with a starlo 902 shorespin and have even given it a crack on my 12' Nitro surf assasin.
Great little reels.
Cheers
