You'll need an RST OR, someone that has an RST. They don't ned to be the skipper, they just need to be onboard. Make sure they take their RST with them.

Not a cheap day if you don't

Not a cheap day if you don't and there have been plenty of checks on water to make it worth having.

Especially if my mate Chris gets ya, loves making examples out of people and getting his quota up.  Not worth it at all, sure someone can point you in the direction of a good RST instructor, you should do that in the morning and go for a fish in the arvo. ;)

It takes weeks at some

Thu, 2008-07-17 22:06

It takes weeks at some places to get in to sit the test and then the prac at a later date, Mangles Bay Fishing Club every Monday night holds an RST course and the the prac on the Wednesday I think.

Seen a post somewhere about a mob called Skipper Chicks that do it all in one day  (no not that, minds out of gutter boys) if you have your own boat & costs just over $100, hopefully someone here can provide their details.
