No- It's moored/tied up to a designated Sea Rescue Jetty. But has barb wired fencing/gate around entrance to Jetty.
You can see the rescue boat when you drive to the launching ramps.

Unbelievable, somethings just should not be touched, this is one. I hope these people don’t need assistance any time soon.

Why
Why would anyone do that.
And why didn't they mention what was stolen and the serial numbers so it can be looked out for?

Stealing is a low act in any
Stealing is a low act in any ones book. The Sea Rescue Vessel belongs to all of us, and I just do not understand why anyone would target a life saving service.

My only solace with these low
My only solace with these low lifes is that they have to live in their own skin - the good people of the world get to live a good life.
These guys have to live their shit lives everyday. The world sorts everybody out eventually and everyone gets what they deserve.
But yeah, a bit of Marcellus Wallace's disciplinary action wouldn't hurt from time to time.

Hi guys
i did start another blog on this site same time as Moking got going and have mentioned what was stolen.
just to let all know that have not read the other blog.
2 x Furuno Navnet 3D chartplotter/ sounders and cut all the wiring n the dash.
6 x offshore life jackets
1 x set of offshore flares.
Current replacement today is $20k
so far some amazing exposure through social media and TV and radio and the local papers.
many generous people are even donating towards replacements.
some one has commented that its Government money they stole, but let me assure you that not one cent on that vessel is Government funded it is owned and has recently been refitted by us alone.
Refit alone cost us $85k
thanks to all for your support and if anyone has any information please contact Crime-stoppers.
thanksDoug
cheers

I’ve put this on quite a few Facebook pages and it’s been shared dozens of times already, so here’s hoping for a good outcome.

Where are these goods going?
These Low lifes need a market to sell to so who is splicing the cut tranducers and who is buying and supporting the black market. Like all on hear I'm sick to death of this shit. Is it going inter state, overseas. I sure as hell wouldn't buy second hand cut tranducers or top end sounders without cables. I hate being on holidays anywhere and having to strip the boat clean to stop the local meth heads from cleaning it out. Doesn't seem to matter where you are. Even had an esky stollen at Kalbarri years ago when I forgot to take it in. Fucken shits me to tears.

Not wishing to ambush the thread
But surely in this day and age electronic manufacturers could include password protection like we see on phones .......make it much harder to sell stolen gear. And the actual serial numbers of this stolen equipment should be widely publicised here and on social media indeed ANY fishing or boating website and shut the door on these tea leaves!

Can't the gps be tracked
Can't the gps be tracked when its turned on like a mobile phone have heard of people getting phones back quickly like this .realize this may be out of action for a while if it's been chopped out but if it can be done worth checking every week for at least a year only way to stop thieves is to catch them.

Gents and Ladies,
we do thank you for all your support.
In response to your requests what was stolen is
2 x Furuno Navnet 3D 12 inch screens serial numbers are 8368-4639 and 8638-4640.
one will just require a transducer and power and it will go. The other (which is probably dumped by now) will require a card and a new touch pad as they left this one in the boat. These are only available through Taylor Marine and they have already put an Australia wide lookout for these or anyone trying to purchase the parts.
The GPS technology is not like a smartphone and does not allow tracking unfortunately.
Also the life jackets stolen do not have any serial numbers same as the flares.
we have been quoted $18K for the new units and we will be lucky to have them in and the vessel up and running by next Friday, all things going well.
Insurance will cover most of it but we understand there will be some shortfalls that we will have to cover ourselves.
Already we have had many gratefully received donations, even on at the ramp today when a fellow boaty came up to me and offered a cool $100 just to help out.
Any information to Crimestoppes please.
