Peaceful Bay

Heading down to Peaceful Bay in Jan with the missus. Not much chance of getting her out on the boat but is it worth taking my yak down and fishing the bay/inlet or is there not much benefit over landbased? Can I expect much else apart from KG's, skippy. herring and bream without getting offshore?

Take the yak, you can launch
Take the yak, you can launch from the beach east of the town, or there are a good few places along the road on the way in. I have lots of good memories from Peacefull, Manny good feeds of crabs from the inlet.

Definatley worth taking the yak. If the swell is down you can paddle out around the rocks to find some good kg spots and even some rouge salmon or sambos cruising by.

Salmon have been around all
Salmon have been around all year and the odd tailor is about. Also a few bronzies. Just watch the high tides, plenty of beaches are getting inundated and sand is quite soft in parts especially with current sand movement, but havent been to peacefuls lately but I guess it would similar as the surrounding beaches I have visited lately.
Let that reel scream!
