Hi All,
I'm interested in installing chart software on my desktop and was wondering what you can recommend please?
Obviously focusing on WA (or Australian) waters.
EDIT: Oh, I should add, OS is W7 :)

pc chart software
Hi Dreamweaver, i have been usinbg a programme called tsunamis navigator on a laptop thati had in my 6m quinnie.
It opperats on windows 98 2000 nt, i was using xp pro and had no trouble at all with it the only draw back with it is it only uses AUST charts only it won't use the dpi charts. I don't know how to load up the web site for Transas Nautic which are the parent company for "navigator" but if you look it up on the web you will see that it is a pretty good programme.
To get the various charts you want you have to buy the permit code for that particular chart, all the charts of vthe world are on the disc with the programme and all you do is put in the access code i have the code for the following charts AU 117
AU 745
AU 744
Au 755
AU 117
Basicaly two charts for Exmouth, one world chart one for cockburn sound and one for fremantle to bunbury.
Have a look at the web site and if you are interested give me a pm
