true mate. croakers being caught 9ks up river. they are up round gregory rock paradise flat all over. the ones caught right up river are really yellowy colored meaning they moved up as finglings and stayed up river. good blueys up river and muddies. good bream all round up there. callum is in the know and the local boys have had pretty good sessions up there.

 yeah mate you could pull any think out of that river theres so much bait in there wen i was there2weeks ago garies mullet prawns. unwieghted baits were the go we were just runnin mullies and bits of  tailor on small gangs tarpons 2-4 and got smoked started with 6 lb braid then uped to 8lb then finally went up 12lb nanofill and still couldnt stop the odd bigger mulla that would come through even though we both had a set up with 20lb braid 40lb leader that remained untouched the whole session smart buggers. didnt try for crabs so cant help there  

how far up river did u go was thinking of staying at the murchison house station

 i drove in from town til we hit the caravan park there fished that stretch my next trip will be a week long adventure in my mate timber boat his built from scratch and do some proper explorin further up

 whiting at goat island. n castle rock flats. bream round corner on snags. big bream n mullas at paradise flats n gregory rock n the dancefloor but b waned on the water level n outboards n hulls!!
