Mono suggestions

Ok so i got a abu garcia omega 4000 currently with 20lb braid on it but have been getting these bloody tangles. I took a bit of line off the reel, used heavier metals, made sure the line was tight when casting etc but still ended up with a tangle or two after about ten casts, which was a better result from when i first used it but its giving me the shits.
So I am thinking of just fucking it off and going back to mono. Any suggestion for mono of about 20lb would be appreciated.....or alternatively, as I can't recall the brand of braid but if there are suggestions for a braid that is far less susceptible to these wind tangles would be appreciated as well. Cheers!

line
there are alot of different types of line out there i did have problems with my briad it was to do with over spooling and i was getting tangles every few casts so i just took a whole lot of braid off so about 3 to 5 metres off and tryed that but if you want to go to mono i like to use the YO-ZURI HYBRID Fluorocarbon Fishing Line but there is a few other good brand out there

Is the braid your using
Is the braid your using green? If it is I'd almost be willing to bet that it's Fins braid, which is like rope & got tangles all the time when I was using it. Now I use 15lb Power-Pro on my beach lure casting outfit & the 20lb version on one of my other beach bait outfits & havn't had any issues in the 2yrs or so I've been using it. If you want to go back to mono then I've always been a fan of Maxima Ultra-Green & good old Platypus Platinum. Both have been around for a long time & are proven performers.
Just because I smile & nod does not mean I believe the crap coming out of your mouth.
All people have the right to stupidity but some abuse the privilege.
