Live fibre venom

 Hey fellas, I haven't been on here for ages, golf bug has bitten me pretty severely. I was wondering if anyone has tried/used a Wilson live fibre venom rod. 3-8 pe o/h is what I have got

 One, My go to bottom bashing rod.

Has not let me donwn at all.

Last week the setup hooked a very large shark that cut through the anchor rope.

The rod did everything I wanted.

 When I got one for my brother last week it felt like it would handle anything. I new I should of got one for myself. But I still might have time to get one before I  leave on Friday for shark bay. Cheers Able

just fished mine venom 3-8 in Coral bay.

can handle pretty much anythning .  best rod I've used with regards to how good the action is.  puts so much hurt on fish and not U

I have the spin though (they use the same blank in the OH so no probs)

light enought to use shallow for pinkies in the sound but have also skull dragged an 8ft hammedrhead from 80m with full drag on the stella !

 

FWIW ....the PE 5-10 is shown lifting 45kg at 45 deg in their PDF somwhere

 

the PE 3-8 .....30kg.  (should be enough for you though !)
