LED Trailer Lights and Electric Brakes

Hoping someone may be able to clear this up.
My trailer lights are starting to leak and need to be replaced.
Was considering LEDs, but recall reading somewhere that they can create problems when used on trailers with electric brakes.
Can't remember what the actual problem was that they supposedly cause, but since reading that article I've never of any problems so maybe an old wives tale (is that sexist to say these days ?).
If you are running LEDs and electric brakes have you had any problems ?
Any info at all appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

LEDS
I have LEDS and electric brakes.
no problems.
One issue is some cars (like Discovery 3 that I used to have) does trailer detection, which basically pulses a small current into the lamps to detect If a trailer is connected.
This can cause LEDs to blink.
It isn't a problem on the LC200, and I fitted a box to the trailer to sort out the discovery issues.

LEDs
I've got LEDs on my trailer with electric over hydraulic brakes and no issues with the RG Colorado. Only time the lights play up is when water gets into the wiring. Another job on the list.

I had my led trailer lights
I had my led trailer lights short out internally causing my brakes to lock on. At first it was intermittent which costed me a lot of money with warped caliper and over heated hubs. Had it lock on while driving up to Exmouth which resulted with the piston popping out because the caliper had worn away.
I guess it was was just my luck, FYI I am still using led trailer lights

If your wiring is done
If your wiring is done correctly they shouldnt have any issue even if your lights play up.
