Launching boat for Key biscayne?
Submitted by beeroclock on Wed, 2014-08-06 11:29
Ive never fished or dived the Key Biscayne before hoping to this summer. Its a long way from two rocks just wondering is it still a beach launch from lancelin or ledge point? and if so is it do-able with a heavy fibreglass voyager? got a Pathfinder attached to it. Or any other launch options north of two rocks marina cheers for any advice

Lancelin
Beach launch, low tide with bugger all swell would be perfect. I haven't dived the KB for 15 yrs and would be keen to do it again. Have a fully rigged Pootrol with recovery gear to assist with beach launch...or do the launch for you. Have 2nd car at the ready with snatch ready - too easy. Its all about prior prep.
