Guy, heading up to Lancelin in a few weeks to do some yakking, and also have a mate coming with his boat. Just chasing a bit of info;
* Whats the launch like for boats? Mate has a 6m Assasin, is it doable, its a beach ramp i gather?
* Whats the ground like along the 20m contour just out from town? Ill be on a yak, so cant travel too far north or south, but capable of heading out 3-5km.
Not looking for coords, unless you are keen to share, but just some general advice.

Beach
Brett the surge has been big lately, which is the main problem when launching a boat in Lano. Arvo has been ok when tide drops off. If you launch on a high tide the surge can make it very difficult. You may have to play it by ear, but not too many 6m boats have been launching lately.
Depends on what fishing you are after- Cray bank can hold some good fish.
