Hunting (like fishing but on land)

Hi All,

If you know where I can go legally hunt in WA please PM me.

Willing to pay if it is reasonable.

Cheers

With public areas I'm not sure if there are any your best bet would be to get in contact with councils in the sticks or see if any of your mates have any land.  Goodluck hope to see some pictures, always wanted to go shooting.

Shaun.

Private access is the go in WA, no crown land or state forest hunting at the moment.

There is one place at York you can pay to go on, it's only 250 acres though with rabbits and maybe a fox. $65 a night, with a minimum charge of $350.

Saw plenty of wild pigs up at Kalbarri alongside the river a couple weeks back. It would be pretty brave to let some shots off down there though!

Best thing to do is put the "yards in" an area which you know holds the species you wish to hunt , doorknock ( don't turn up in your camo's with dogs , guns and pissed mates!) or do a letter drop , but expect to get a fair few knock backs before you get a yes. The other way is to explore the options through work mates and family ties , with a bit of digging you generally could get a start , then it opens up property neighbours etc..

Good luck

Yeah I get out with my bow pretty regularly ( been bowhunting for 20 yrs) , Rabbits , Pigs ,Foxes, Deer , Goats , with mixed success , I think most clubs are more Archery Clubs than Bowhunting in W.A . Maybe ask the Question on  bowhunting-forum.com .

Fish Guts - ony a bottle of red will make you that brave...  Careful you dont fall overboard on Saturday....  LOL!

Everybody else - thanks for your input.

Got only a .22 and a .223 at the moment and thinking of getting a .270 later - so rifle hunting not bow hunting.

Looking for the usual suspects:

rabbits

foxes

ferral dogs and cats

Goats

Pigs

Deer

Donkeys

Camels

Yes I know some of the above needs a larger calibre than what I currently have.

Cheers
