Saw a bunch of bonito and tuna out today from Hillary's. massive bait schools breaking the surface. Put out the Raphael's x raps, tried Christmas trees, and jelly babes. No luck at all. Devastating.

Bonito
I've caught lots of them on Laser Pro 150mm lures. They tend to be in the 20-30 meter depth. We normally troll at 6 knots but have still caught them down to 4 knots. I find the lures that sit close to the boat in the propellor white wash get the most hits.

Hey mate,I've been trolling
Hey mate,
I've been trolling off Dunsborough recently and having a lot of success on Halco Laser Pro's in the 2-3m diver range, trolling the lure about 40m behind the boat and travelling at about 7ish knots. I've had by-catches of tailor, snook and a sambo as a result of this and it's pretty much one of the easiest ways of fishing! I was in about 15-30m of water and catching them quite regularly.
