Grass on boats

Ha, probably caught half of you out with that subject line but really just wondering if any of you blokes have artificial turf instead of carpet on the deck of your boat and if so can you offer the pros n cons of doing so.

I thought it was a similar thread
to the alcohol on boats thread...I use the Ribbed marine carpet ...not sure about about the turf but if it's not too slippery and a low pile I imagine it would suffice...could always set up a putting green as well...

it gets soooo bloody hot in direct sunlight,,like it would burn the crap out of ur feet by lunchtime,,, i install it all the time n i wouldnt have it in my yard let alone boat...

I saw that too on i fish, and
I saw that too on i fish, and my mate has it in his yard. It does get hot and i think a hot floor and fresh fish just aren't good together.

Mates got it in his yard dog cant take a turd without tap dancing quite funny to watch really i got it in my dinghy but its more the astro turf really short and im in the pilbara and dont have a problem
