furuno 627

 hi, looking at getting a furuno 627., is the standard p66 tranny good enough in 100mtrs and less? Or is it better to get  a 1kw tranny?  Not sure of the difference betwwen the two are.. any unput would  b great. Thanks guys don

Should be fine for 100m or less.

Most people can get out to 150 or 200m with the 600w tranducer if installed in a good spot.

I had the p66 on my fcv620 and been out to 220m and still picked up bottom.
