was $3500 from sydney to Perth for a 5 metre on trailer. Loaded on a semi and arrived in perfect condition. Can't remember the operator but he was on Contract to Kentz Removals. Suggest give the larger Removalist companies a call and check who they use for boat and car movements ex QLD to WA

QLD to Perth
Cost me $5250 about 3 years ago to bring a Haines Signature 600 over on a flat bed truck through Express Boat Transport.
I did then the best that I knew how. When I knew better, I did better.

Suggest that you engage
Suggest that you engage truck operator to bring it over. Doing it privately introduces swags of problems with transfer of ownership when you don't live in the state where you purchase and therefore transporting unregistered vehicles (trailers) which may affect insurance. Yes you can get permits but they can be constrictive. For the few dollars that you save, have it trucked over, much less heartache. My two bobs worth.

Whatever you do, don't use a
Whatever you do, don't use a guy called Kyle McCann, I booked him back in august to transport my boat from Sydney to Perth, I paid him up front $2350 and he just kept making excuses and delaying, 7 weeks later I cancelled and I haven't been able to get my money back.
I used the site uship.com and his so called business name is KM Transport.
i am not the only person he has ripped off and owes money to.

I have used Land Transport,
I have used Land Transport, Cockburn Transport and Truckit heaps of times to bring and send gear Perth-Brisbane and have been happy with all three methods. Truckit was good, but took a while to get the right price. Lands are reliable as are Cockburn, but Cockburn are cheaper if they are looking to fill space. They took a 3 series Beamer over there for $1300 for the boss. I've never sent a boat or car by rail, but it is very cheap when you send heavy items such as steel plate. Might be worth pricing up.
