I headed up to Flatrock on
I headed up to Flatrock on Friday night.
Though it looked a bit different from the pic posted 2 weeks ago with 2-3 ft white water running over it.
Didnt fish at night as it was dark when I got there and didnt know what the footing was like and the tide was over it with a 2 meter wide runoff behind it.
Sat morning spent about 2 hours chucking slices and poppers with not much luck. 2 monster herring on metal slices.
Picked up one tailor @ 45cm but had to give it up as the white water with the incoming tide came close to knocking me down a few times.
Headed up the coast a few k's and picked up 2 more tailor but gave up as there was too much weed and you couldnt feel the bites.
Hadnt been to flatrock before but it looks like it would be a great spot on the correct tide.
