Fishing Fiji

Hi All,
Heading to Fiji in June next year for a mates wedding (I told him lucky the fishing is good there, else I wouldn't be coming!!)
I've emailed heaps of charter operators to get an idea of what they offer, but would love to hear from anyone who has actually used any charter operators there...
Lucky Tim, I forgot the operator you told me about?
I know a few guys on here have visited Fiji, so would love to hear your thoughts.
Staying on the Coral Coast, and will want to chuck surface lures mostly...
Thanks in advance

I went a few years ago,
I went a few years ago, stayed on the coral coast at "hideaway resort"
I can remember catching loads of small trevally off the sand and heaps of slimy mackerel out the front of the accom.. They eat them there which was a little different to what I was used to

I went to Fiji in Feb this
I went to Fiji in Feb this year and went out with a charter company called Fiji Free Dive. They operate out of Pacific Harbour on the Coral Coast.
Don't let the name fool you, they do a lot of fishing charters also, we did a bit of both, did some popping for GT's ( follows from a couple of monsters but no luck) , Jigging for Dogtooth (no luck here either) , trolling out wide (hooked a couple of decent Marlin and landed a Mahi Mahi), and then we came in closer and did some more popping and diving which was great fun, couple of massive Maori Wrasse around.
I only managed the one Mahi Mahi for the day, but to be honest it was an awesome day out at a resonable price. It didn't matter that I only caught the one fish, I was stoked. Right time of year, the Wahoo are everywhere.....
The guy that owns the company is an Aussie, I'm very jealous of his lifestyle thats for sure.
Anyway I would highly recommend them, they do extended charters to Kadavu also which is meant to be amazing fishing.
Cheers

Have had plenty of customers
Have had plenty of customers that have fished with www.sportfishingfiji.com and have done well. They're based out of Mango Bay on the Coral Coast.
Otherwise me and few of the lads on here (Lucky Tim included) have fished out from Ono Island organised by Ocean Blue fishing adventures.
Another one talked about alot is fishing with Capt. Adrian Watt out from Kadavu Island, the name of his operation eludes me at this moment.
Cheers,
Sam
