Exmouth In September 2009

Hi All,
I am heading up to Exmouth in September and i was wondering what kind of lurer i should be buying, any good spots to fish off the shore, should i go book a charter boat, if so, which one?
I will be stopping at Monkey Mia aswell, any tips on the fishing there?

Andy,effective lures to take are;
Metal slices -- Halco/Raiders assorted sizes/weights
Poppers -- Halco/Richter/River2sea assorted sizes/weights
Stickbaits -- Yo-Zuri/Maria Bullchops
Softies -- 5inch Snapbacks
Exmouth Charter Boat -- Try Blue Horizon Charters.
Monkey Mia -- same lures, Big Lagoon (4wd) is good, (2wd) Eastern Gulf side is fishy.
Oceanside Team - Specializing in Jigging for demersal, Super Deep Fishing and Cockburn Sound Pink Snapper.

Yep
Blue Horizon are good, just make sure you take your own rod. When I went past them the other day people were handlining, mind you, looked like a good red they pulled up as we drove past.
As for other info, Ryan has said it all. Just try and of the beach accesses on the West side, they all have their strong points and low points for different species.
