Any ideas what we can do with our old EPIRBs? Is there an EPIRB heaven? Is there an EPIRB Good Sammy Bin?

Rebate
I reckon the Government should give a rebate on the existing epirbs as some of them are only a season old and never used, even if they bought the new ones at cost plus 10% and sold them to the recreational through the sea rescue groups who got the 10% for their efforts

Kayak boys
G'day guys
I think the Yak boys were asking for them. Bloke or one of the other nuts posted it somewhere.
Cheers Mick

against the law to dump them at the tip!!!!
just a word of warning, it's against the law to dump them, with the battery still in, as they have often had them activating in rubbish tips months later.
Most big boating stores have a recycle bin for de-commissioning them.
We handed a few in from the work to GME direct and they remove the batteries and crush them for free.
cheers
