Eletric Trailer Winches

Hey just wondering if anyone out there has given anything like this extremely cheap electric winch a crack(around $200 delivered). Guessing there cheap and nasty, and money will be better spent on quality. I havent had any experience with electric winches, so if anyone can outline common probs had, it would be appreciated. I am wanting it to pull my 24 Grady White, approx 2500kg up a trailer which only has centre rollers and skids. Reason for thinking about going electric is I sometimes retrieve by myself and feel remote may make it easier. From what I hear winch speed is often a problem? Do they often get jammed, overheat? What stuffs up basically. Any comments would be greatly appreciated

Even the good winches are
Even the good winches are slow and if you are trying to pull 2500kg, it will struggle.
The only winch that I have seen pull at a decent speed was one that was hooked up to the batteries of the car with the motor running. The owner ran a set of 1 swg back to the rear of the car connected to a set of Andersons.

I've never seen an electronic
I've never seen an electronic winch thats been any good, they are all shit in my books!
had one on a protector inexmouth this year, protector 29ft long, maybe 2.5-3t...winch slow as all hell and it then burnt out!
Better option to find a way to make your trailer drive on. There are very few ramps which dont allow drive on (two rocks is one).
My 26ft console is about 2.5t and i drive it up everytime, even on my own

We have one and lilke many
We have one and lilke many have said it is slow, but we havent had any problems with it burning, jamming, ect. Ours was a fair bit more than the unit your looking at tho so cant comment on the cheap units. Our boat is around 2t and it has no problems getting it up even if only half the trailer is in the water.

a mate has one on his 25ft
a mate has one on his 25ft flybridge, center rollers with skids.
it has a double line pull which dose make it slow, but pulls the big tug on no probs.
it makes it easier with 2 people and let the trailer go back as your winding the winch.....but you can never beat the drive on!!!
