Spango's!

If you want to stick inside the reef and fish the weedy/coral bommies for Spangled Emporer a floating Scalie or Lightly weighted Cali Squid on 2 Snelled Tanaiwa hooks using approx 1 metre of 40-60lb leader will claim fish. Otherwise if you want to have a bit of fun using lures, I would suggest the Gladiator Ocean Potion 110mm sinking. Was using this only a week ago and Spango's were jumping all over it.

Cant go wrong with red

Cant go wrong with red snapbacks, Spango's absolutely love them.

We catch them one after another in exnouth on them, all in 4-8m of water.

Plus they are a hardy plastic, so can catch plenty of fish before you need to replace.
