Cheers, that is uncanny. High tide was at 9:45 and by 11 it was still very slow. This is very very close to when they came on the bite, perth metro area. Shut down again by 12ish. Back at the ramp by 1pm with a 52 cm KGW big BB and released numerous rat sambos and suicidal skippy.
And almost completely shut down by 11 ...........mind you the wind had dropped to a zephyr so even drifting became difficult around that time so unless over the fish directly not surprising little biting. Did hook a 7 foot hammer head which was a real surprise, seen plenty and hooked plenty late summer but never in winter.

we caught our fish at around 10 on the weekend and then went quiet, was a very short period of time
