what was devastating though today was getting a call from my son's trainer saying he'd potentially done his ACL in a scratch match. Fingers crossed it's not serious when he sees the physio next week.

Devo mate. Don't worry about the physio diagnosis as they can only do indicator tests. Just get him in for an MRI straight away.
You got my number so get in touch if you want advise on how to get a bulk billed MRI and the details of my surgeon who also did one of the boys from my gym in Oct who's already back jogging and boxing.
