Got buzzed by a few but nothing happening on the poppers. Small tides probably didn't help.

not always though, we found massive schools of fusilers at trout alley in some deeper water and unfortunately no GT's.
Plenty of trout however, hence the name. Also found a whole fusiler in the gut of the 65cm trout i speared

true although the fish dont disapear on a neap mate, they just are not activly feeding. Didnt see a single one (and i was underwater) and we covered a lot of ground. just dont think there are many in that area
