Coral spawn event on the new moon in March at the Houtman Abrolhos Islands, 50 Nm off the midwest coast Geraldton!

The dark grey clouds in the water over the green sand are excess coral spawn!.

When it floats on top and gathers in slick sit's pink / red in color!
It also stinks a LOT!
Fish seem to go off the bite when coral spawns - no idea why!
