Where are the crabs running??

Was thinking about going crabbing land based but a mate of mine went to mandurah 2 weeks ago and only got 2. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go to catch a feed... Would prefer scooping af anyone knows!

Scooping crabs
What's the best method for scooping crabs, the little buggers are quick and always seem to be too quick?

Yep by febuary when the biggest surviors are about, ( and have outpaced all) you have to run them down
like a man running through porridge, ha
Use poloriod glasses, the biggest see you before you see them, run them down
but dont directly chase them , vear off to one side, they think your stopping, so they stop
then sweep in like a politician on a swinging voter, with a sideways sweep dragging the scoop just on the sand.
Quite often the biggest wont fit in the scoop so a so called double flick is required to fit them in scoop.
If all this sounds very serious business , it is , a real mans worth is on display for all to see
so no girly squeels are allowed when a crab heads north of your feet intent on meatballs for lunch.
No better feeling than heading in , baby bath full of blues , nackers intact , scoop over shoulder like soldier
returning after a battle.
You gotta love living in W.A.
