Good luck Jess
I believe the reefs around Cotteslone have been turning up a few good sized tailor. Not sure about Pt Peron mate.

Take a girl fishing and she'll want to try it. Teach a girl to fish and you'll get out fished forever!!

i went to pinnaroo point mate but it was too weedy then i drove up the coast a bit more to mullaloo point ... looked so awesome i reckon it would be an excellent night fishing spot as the drop off from the bare sand is quite deep and it was very whitewashy!
i didnt get a chance to fish there as there are so many surfers haha thats why at night would be best!

k, cool- and thanks.

I was thinking you may been fishing round the end of the submerged pipe that dumps whatever the hell it is dumping just out sou-west from the end of woodies pipe- clearly visible upwellings on calm days. I've targetted that area from time to time(there always seems to be heaps of bait hanging roung there) for good results on the humble ol' 'erring. The pipe i'm referring is shown on a bathymetric map/chart of the sound.

L/B yeh!
Yeh the hotwater pipe is good, you can access it L/B sebsktm but the main access road was blocked many years ago where we would drive right down to it. Now ya gotta walk a bit but not that bad!
We've got giant herring/salmon/tailor/longtoms/herring etc

the majority have on the
the majority have on the small side but the occasional one was size. some guys ppicked up two 35cm. i use mulies on either a 3/0 or 4/0 tailor rig w/ treble or just a 3/0 or 4/0 gang depending on there size. small ball sinker directly on top of the gang of hooks on a 30lb leader so it can get down to were ever they are faster. slow retreive always does it. was down there the last three weeks in a row and theyve been biting thw whole time. they seem to be more active when the sun is out
