I went out with Ray the Trumpeter King on Sunday. Once again he gave me a lesson on catching Trumpeter.
We also got a few squid.

Try inside Mindarie. I always seem to catch a few.

I am not sure of its the same fish
But I think I saw a fishing show where they caught a few (much bigger) ones off Kangaroo Island. I think they said they were ok to eat. But don't quote me on that, it was awhile ago. Maybe some of our South Australian members will have some better info.
