noticing lots of theft of fishing, diving, and boating equipment at the moment. with all the stuff that gets sold on this site is there any chance of having a new subject field specifically for stolen equipment? . a ''lost and stolen section'' could be v useful..make it harder for crims to move gear on the site_

Engraver
Hi guys,
These F ing PRI KS give me the S ITS big time. They think because you work your ass off, you won't mind if they just held themselves as they feel like. the only way is to buy your own engraver, and visably mark it all and leave stickers to let'em know! But this won't work, because the Dip Sh....ITS can't read anyway. If we do something to them we get the book chucked at us.Just is'nt right.

new twist with old technology
Our local police station is lending out a blacklight pen and asking us to inscribe goods with license numbers near serial numbers with it so the theifs dont see it and hand it in so it can be reported back to them.

Why should they work, when we
Why should they work, when we can do it for them.
Bit like the eastern states and their insistence on the "mining tax". We do all the work, they want all the money. Why should a bunch of unemployed greenies in a Sydney Cafe get a free ride, whilst the bloke who work hard in the mines, in hot dangerous conditions pay more and more tax.

my work mates brother has
my work mates brother has just had his house ransacked, car stolen ( an old ute he was doing up ) 4 guns stolen all the rounds aswell, ripped the safe out of his walk in robe, even stole the papers for the guns. trashed the inside of the house. the house next door said a small truck was parked for 2 days out the front, they said they looked like workers so no one was suss about it. all this was done while he was fifo. cops reckon they had checked him out for a while because his 4wd was covered in hunting and fishing stickers and had his ute covered with a coverall and had a large shed. they said they may have even stayed in his house the night. only reason he found out was his dad drove past and wrang him up and asked were the ute was, he said dont joke dad his dad called cops but they had gone already.
dirty dogs in my opinion. getting worse aswell they all need drugs. they are getting more and more brazen
last i heard cops were hunting them down hard because of the guns that were missing had them worried, high powered rifles and couple of shotguns. got a few prints aswell,
worst fisherman ever

Friend of a friend was
Friend of a friend was burgled the other week; when the cops came round, they asked if the victim had sold something on Gumtree recently. She said 'Yes.' So copper explains there's a new MO where they phone you up and ask if they can come round to look at the item, then suss out when you're not there, and rob you...
