squid jig storage
A little while back I purchase a heap of squid jigs at a heavily discounted price from a local specialist store that was moving. Sorted through to get a good range of different sizes and colours to compliment my existing stock and put them in a large tackle tray minus the original packing.
On the weekend went up to Cervantes for a couple days and headed out for a quick afternoon jig. When I opened the tray all the new jigs are bent like bananas cloth is peeling off and are unusable. Suspect that the plastics used in the squid jig were not compatible with the tray. I was aware that soft plastics can melt in this situation but had not seen squid jigs go like this.
Has anyone else seen this and what do you store your jigs in?
The ones I did not put in the tray are still all fine

Not sure about the bending
Not sure about the bending but my missus bought me these small covers that go over the prongs from overseas. Not sure what they were for at first but found out that it is used to store jigs so that the prongs don't tear into the cloth of the other jigs when they are stored and transported.
