Hi,

Our family has a 53' yacht in the Busso area and we're finally getting around to putting a sounder on it.

We're planning some long-distance trips in the next year or two so the sounders chart plotting capability is paramount. However, if we can also get one with a fish finder that covers the area of the yacht effectively that would be great.

Can anyone recommend suitable models for this type of vessel? We are particularly interested in Lowrance or Garmin models because we have access to some good deals on these brands.
