I've got a 5000 and a 20000sw awesome reels for the price. Use the 20000sw for sambos and so far no problems it's got 80lb finns around 400m

Sara's are good
And should be able to handle a decent GT. But I have heard from PilbaraBrad about a GTrain totally smoking his mates Saragosa 18000 up in Karratha area. So if you get on to a large GT any reel other than a big Stella or Saltiga might be in some bother if you dont want to be bricked quickly. My StellaSW 10K handled some Gtrains with relative ease, but I was bricked fairly often.
I still love my Gosas though.

Thanks crasny I don't have
Thanks crasny I don't have any intentions at the moment of targeting the big gts but want a descent reel that if I hook one at least has a chance and I can't justify buying a Stella for the majority of the fishing I do

Have 2 of the old models
Both ends of the scale a 4000F and 18000F.
15kg + cobia have been landed on my 4000F jigging no probs.
They are a tough good quality reel for the price and by all accounts the SW models have been an improvement on the earlier versions.
The bigger sizes are tanks and to be honest I rarely use my 18000F as it hardly warranted.
Unless you're planning on targeting big fish flat out I would look at the 10000SW for a bit more of a versatile reel IMO.

If you get a Saragossa, just
If you get a Saragossa, just make sure that you spray the line roller with some inox or something or strip it down to lubricate otherwise it will sieze. Not something that I was used to doing with my other reels but found out the hard way with my 8000. Now I spray it after every trip.
