The grand final rematch is upon us with the Pies all fired up after beating Richmond’s VFL side and travelling the grand sum of 0.00km over the three rounds. West Coast will welcome back Clubber Gaff into the engine room for his run at the 2019 Brownlow and Kennedy will be a lot better for his run last week. Call me crazy but I’ve tipped West Coast and I’m also tipping Boon to disappear for 7 days if the Hawks blow another lead this weekend.
Talking of blowing a lead, I see that Freo are playing the 2-0 Saints this week. I did say in the round 1 thread that “I can't see Rolf Weinstein lasting beyond the Derby if they aren't at least 2-2 but he is truly the teflon man so who knows” and we may yet find out how slippery he really is.
Last thought. It’s really nice of Melbourne to take on the mean trolls on twitter and they are going to run through a ‘mean tweet’ banner. I also hear the AFL is providing safe spaces around the ground during the game if the players get overwhelmed by the experience. Maybe if they concentrated on playing footy and not kissing their opponents they wouldn’t be 0-2 and getting ‘mean tweets’.

3 goals from the Chad on debut, not bad...hope he doesn't do the old one good quater every ten he perfected so well at Port. Scully's game was pretty encouraging. It will be good to see once he is fully up and running. Not bad for a bloke who many though wouldn't be seen at least till the half way mark, unless it was all smoke and mirrors...
