Im not convinced of the travel argument. you look at players like jakovich (276? games) and pavlich (300+ and still another 15, hopefully more) and they have had long and great careers travelling every second week.
i do think were travel becomes a factor is during the finals. that's why i reckon neither freo or west coast can win a flag unless they finish top two. third or fourth or lower means back to back travel during the finals, and i reckon that hurts teams.

Had to happen. The last quarter fade out has been getting more noticeable & the Crows worked it out last week & it almost paid off for them.
Richmond did it right, hit em hard in the first quarter & let em play catch up. Brings out the mistakes under pressure, they still played hard but they had to & not on their terms
