If your game fishing then a fully rollered rod would be the go in that line class. The sabre would have to be a custom and the price for a full set of aftco rollered guides would cost just as much as the full tiagra would.(comes with aftco guides!). Was goin to build a sabre up for my 30W tiagra but ended up just goin the tiagra rod, much cheaper!
Sheesh bro, you hunting big Tigers or what, even your biggest macks wouldn't give that elephant gun a run, should give Adam a bell and tee up a big Marlin sesh, they'd have to be starting to turn up now. Perhaps the heaviest of the new Daiwa Dendoh boat rods (40-80lb).

Well you dont need the rollers then. You could just go a standard sabre with sic guides! So many rods out there rated to 37kg. You chasing a short stroker or something longer?
yeh daisy i do go big lol but i hav already got macks 2 28kilo's and sharks 2 150kilos and have lost bigger sharks because of tackle breakin eg swivels so now i'm steppin up a gear
Sic guides are silcon carbide rings and then you can get what ever frame you want, eg titanium. Its the insert thats more important. Deckhand and member of the Gotone Woodvale team
Yeah titanium nitride cermet. However to the best of my knowledge they dont do those rings in an overhead guide. only spin guides. Sics are the way to go, say in a LR frame. Deckhand and member of the Gotone Woodvale team
