Reel Maintenance

G'day,
I was just got my new Stella 4000SW from Oceanside. Absolutely love it. I had it out the last few days and christened it with 7 barra, the smallest being 71cm, the biggest 85cm. The little reel handled it with ease. But now Im home and I'd like to keep this little gem in as good condition as I can. Does anyone have any care tips that I can use on my Stella to keep it reeling in barra for years to come? Thanks.

Rinse in fresh water make
Rinse in fresh water make sure the drag is tight then dry off with a cloth release drag cap give it a grease every now and then and it should serve you well for years to come, could give the line bearing a bit of oil once a blue moon

Good
Good advice but back off the drag to nothing after rinsing. Otherwise you'll end up with flat spots and a sticky/shuddering drag.
The best reason for doing what's right today is tomorrow.
